Bye bye Bella! Kristen Stewart kicks off her post Twilight career by going topless in movie adaptation of Jack Kerouac classic On the Road

If you thought you knew Kristen Stewart, think again.

The actress goes topless while sitting in a car next to a similarly clothes free Garrett Hedlund and Sam Riley in the trailer for her new film, On The Road.

It's an adaptation of Jack Kerouac's 1951 novel, which is considered to be the seminal book of the Beat Generation.

Dean (Hedlund) and Sal (Riley) are two friends looking for thrills on road trips across America, from New York to the West Coast and then back again.

The film’s outstanding ensemble cast also includes Amy Adams, Viggo Mortensen, Kirsten Dunst, Steve Buscemi, Terrence Howard and Elisabeth Moss.

The Walter Salles-directed film will premiere at the Cannes Film Festival later this year.

Kristen has just returned from Paris Fashion Week, where she was joined by her boyfriend Robert Pattinson.


Meanwhile, Stewart and Pattinson's Twilight characters have been immortalised as Barbie dolls.

Their characters Bella Swan and Edward Cullen on their wedding day have been made into the plastic figurines to mark the release of the DVD of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1.

They have been spending time together before they kick off their promotional tours for their upcoming films.

Stewart has Snow White and the Huntsman and On The Road coming out, while Pattinson is promoting Bel Ami and Cosmopolis.

They will be back on the promotional trail together this autumn when the final Twilight film Breaking Dawn Part 2 is released.

Pattinson arrived in Paris last Saturday after spending the past week Stateside.

During the week, Stewart was seen attending the Balenciaga Fall-Winter 2012-2013 Ready-To-Wear fashion show and visiting Stella McCartney's showroom.

Their reunion in the City Of Lights came a week after they were spotted attending pre-Oscar parties together last weekend.
