The Expandables: Jackie Stallone, 90, brings her inflated trout pout to Hollywood premiere of son Sly's film

By Chris Johnson

Hollywood is teaming with inflated egos.

But Jackie Stallone's lips - which have taken on a character of their own - won hands down last night at the Los Angeles premiere of The Expendables 2.

The 90-year-old astrologer, along with her indefatigable pout, joined her son Sylvester at the Los Angeles premiere of his latest action movie.

Not your average 90-year-old: The astrologer slipped into a short black skirt, plunging blouse and platforms

Jackie's famously crooked grin, which her 66-year-old son has also inherited, appeared bigger than ever as she posed for photographs on the red carpet at the Grauman's Chinese Theatre.

Apparently her quest not to grow old gracefully has continued in earnest - and she appears to have had a fresh bout of collagen injections.

Three-times-married Jackie, whose maiden name is Labofish, was dressed in an outfit you wouldn't catch your average 90-year-old grandmother in: it consisted of a short black skirt and plunging blouse, strung together by jewelled strips.

She completed her look with platform heels - adding some height to her diminutive stature - and wore green contact lenses, heavy eye make-up, including thick painted-on brows.

Jackie attended the event to support her son Sly, who was promoting his movie in Hollywood following the London premiere earlier this week.

Last night Sylvester opened up to Jay Leno in an interview recorded earlier in the day, talking about the recent loss of his son Sage, who died aged 36 last month from an apparent drug overdose.

Sly told Leno: 'When life hits you pretty hard you can go into a dark corner, or you can say, "Ok, fine,’ I’m going to find something to focus on, children, your wife, be supportive to other people too".

'Because I know a lot of people go through [losing a child], and they don’t get the attention that I do.

'And I feel for them, because it’s one club that no one wants to be a member of, that’s for sure.

'But I think about his memory, he was a lovely boy and I’ll always treasure that.'

Last night's Hollywood premiere was perhaps the hardest leg so far for Stallone, as it means returning to the city where Sage died.

Indeed, from Hollywood Boulevard where the Rocky legend surveyed thousands of fans tonight, it's just a small drive to the Studio City house where his son died alone.

Sylvester was also joined by wife Jennifer Flavin last night and their three daughters, Scarlet, Sophia and Sistine.
