All grown up: X Factor's Eoghan Quigg shows off his tattoos and buffed new look in boxing photoshoot

By Daily Mail Reporter

Former X Factor star Eoghan Quigg won a legion of female fans thanks to his spiked hair and cute looks during the 2008 reality competition.

However, he's not a young boy any more after showing of his six pack for an action-packed photoshoot.

Quigg, now 20, came third in that year's X Factor, and it seems he has spent his time since then pumping iron in the gym.

Hasn't he grown? Former X Factor star Eoghan Quigg isn't a young boy anymore after showing of his six pack for a boxing photoshoot

Talking to Now Magazine, he explained about his new look: 'I’ve got a lot taller and my hair’s shorter. I’m not as chubby as I used to be. It might have been better if I was the age I am now.

'I was the youngest ever to get to the final. One Direction came after me. I was so young I didn’t really understand what was going on.'

The boxing photoshoot sees the now muscled pop star looking moody in the ring, while another shows him grinning at the camera.

His multiple tattoos are also visible.

The singer has always been a keen boxing fan, adding: 'I once boxed in an Irish championship.

'My brother's a boxing fanatic, so I wouldn't want to do it professionally because he'd beat me.'

Quigg dated his X Factor co-star Diana Vickers, but admits he hasn't spoken to her or the show's winner Alexandra Burke in over three years.

He said: 'I lost my phone three years back and haven’t spoken to them since. I saw JLS when they came to Belfast recently.'

Quigg is also recently single, adding: 'I had a girlfriend for three years, but we recently broke up. We’re still friends.'

The singer was dropped by his record label following his poorly received self-titled debut album, but insists he's looking forward to the future.

He said: 'I’ve just been rehearsing for a Strictly Come Dancing Children In Need special in Northern Ireland. And I do panto in November. Since The X Factor I’ve done two arena shows.'
