Glamorous: Katie Price touches down at Newark airport in New Jersey as she arrives from London
Sneaking off usually involves going through the back door silently.
But Katie Price has informed her one million Twitter followers - 1,340,619 to be precise - that she is leaving London and want to keep it a 'secret'.
The former glamour model, 33, was then spied touching down at Newark airport in New Jersey today.
Friend and former cricketer Darren Gough initially wished her a safe flight via the social networking site, but instead of ignoring him or sending a private message, she retweeted it with an additional caption.
She replied: 'thanks but sneaking off trying to keep it secret!!! xx RT @DGoughie @MissKatiePrice enjoy your flight'.
Ready for the catwalk: Katie ditched jeans and trainers for the plane journey, opting for something a little more eye-catching
Dressed in leopard print leggings and knee-high boots, Price looked typically immaculate and ready for the catwalk, rather than having just emerged from an epic seven hour plane journey.
The only sign of tiredness was hidden behind her oversized celebrity shades as she strut through the airport in the Big Apple.
It is believed she may have abandoned UK plans to escape the drama surrounding her and ex-husbands Peter Andre and Alex Reid.
Big Apple: Jordan leaves her troubles behind as she arrives in New York
Earlier this week speculation has centred on a report that the entrepreneur has been doling out large amounts of maintenance money to both former spouses.
But yesterday these claims were strongly denied by his spokesperson.
And today, Price's personal website has issued a statement saying the matter is 'confidential' and the accusations are 'false'.
It said: 'Katie has not provided any information to the press or any third party about this matter and nor has anyone on her behalf.
'The arrangements that have or will be made with respect to Mr Andre and Mr Reid are, as far as Katie is concerned, confidential and she has at all times treated them as such.
'Given the false accusations that have been deliberately put into the press by certain individuals previously which Katie is currently addressing it is important to make clear that none of this information has come from her and that anyone suggesting such to be the case is incorrect.'
