Her party lifestyle has taken its toll: Tara Reid looks older than her years as she steps out looking dishevelled

She recently confessed she still likes to party as much as ever.

But American Reunion star Tara Reid's hedonistic lifestyle is clearly taking its toll, as she looked skinnier than ever when she stepped out in West Hollywood yesterday.

She looked drawn and gaunt as she went for a stroll in a pair of tight jeans and pink tracksuit top.

Her appearance will surely be a concern for fans hoping she can finally gain some career momentum off the back of the forthcoming latest entry in the wildly popular American Pie franchise, which is released next month.

But the 36-year-old actress, who checked into rehab in 2008 due to wild ways, does not seem to have learned her lesson if her recent comments are anything to go by.

She told Access Hollywood: 'I like to have a good time, who doesn't? I just learned to be more discreet.

'Who you keep around and what you do is very important.'

She also played down the seriousness of her previous antics, despite the fact she was regularly pictured looking bleary-eyed following marathon clubbing sessions.

The star said: 'It was my fault, I did it ... [but] it wasn't that bad what I did.

'At the end of the day, I really [just] had fun. I wasn't doing crimes. I wasn't getting in trouble like that.'

Tara seemed to have a bright Hollywood future after starring in the 1998's The Big Lebowski and 1999's American Pie.

But she featured in a series of flops, such as 2003's Devil's Pond, and was nominated a Golden Raspberry in 2004 for her performance alongside Ashton Kutcher My Boss's Daughter.

Tara also featured in the UK edition of Celebrity Big Brother last August, where she was the third person to be evicted.
