The singer, 38, posted the picture of his pregnant wife posing in their LA home, writing, 'My two girls!'

'My two girls!' Robbie Williams posted a picture of his pregnant wife Ayda on his website today

The couple's first child is due in September.

Robbie announced the happy news back in March that he and his wife of almost two years are expecting a baby. Less than a week later, they revealed she is a girl.

It was recently claimed that the parents-to-be are contemplating naming their daughter Roberta, after her famous father, but also like Genevieve and Alice.

They have already shopped for the new addition at Petit Trésor, the exclusive baby store on Robertson Boulevard near their £9 million mansion in Beverly Hills.

Custom-designed sleigh cribs cost up to £2,400 and a Notte Fatata which stores nappies, will cost £9,291.

Baby joy: The couple, who married in August 2010, are expecting their first child in September

A source told the Star: 'He's always wanted to be a dad so he's going all out so his new daughter will be treated like a princess.

'He wants her top have the best of everything.'

And one of the singer's neighbours told the paper: 'It's safe to say he's completely gone gaga over his baby - and why not? He's a great guy and I'm sure he'll make a wonderful father.'

Williams announced that he is to become a father in typically comic fashion, writing on his website in March: 'Hey friendlies, I've been keeping a secret from you all. Me and Ayda are going to be a Mummy and Daddy this year!!!!!!!!

He added: 'We had sex! It works!

'We've seen scans and cried... looked at babies in commercials and teared up... the nursery is already planned.

'Basically I'm in love with a little person growing in mummy's belly... and can't wait to be a daddy. Crying now.

'Much love, much joy. Roberto, Mum and Little Bump. xxx'

We believe you! Robbie Williams silences weight gain rumours by posting topless picture of his washboard stomach

By Andrea Magrath

Robbie Williams isn't about to take speculation that he is piling on the pounds lying down.

The singer hit back at the suggestion via his blog yesterday, posting a picture that certainly proved that his washboard abs are back for good.

Robbie, 38, posed topless for a picture showcasing his flat stomach and smugly giving his critics the finger.

Still want to call me fat? Robbie Williams had a message for anyone questioning whether he had piled on the pounds in this picture posted on his blog

The Feel singer wore loose-fitting grey tracksuit bottoms for the picture, which appears to be taken in the living room of his LA home.

Referring to the photographers who took the unflattering picture, he wrote: 'Thank you for your internationally syndicated horrid picture of me (the one you put up of me leaving Taverna Tony's...)

'Just to "weigh" it up here's me at home the next day. With much love and respect, Robert.'

'Let's weight it up': The singer was responding to unflattering pictures taken over the weekend where he appeared larger than usual

The offending picture was taken as Robbie left Greek restaurant Taverna Tony;s in Malibu.

Williams wore a dark blue jacket which gave the illusion of a paunch. His broad smile also created a double chin, sparking discussion over the singer's weight.

Since ending his tour with Take That last year, Robbie has returned to working on solo material.

He is also gearing up for the next SoccerAid game in May. He will captain the England team while actor Michael Sheen will head up The Rest of the World team.

Bad angle: But his 'paunch' was simply an illusion created by his boxy jacket, and the 38-year-old's flat stomach today spoke for itself

Marvin Humes, Aston Merrygold, Olly Murs and Gordon Ramsay are just some of the names set to participate.

Robbie wrote on his blog recently: 'Soccer Aid returns for the fourth time, and with it a renewed sense of passion for this remarkable event that can help vulnerable children all around the world.

'I make no bones about it, we lost, The Rest of The World managed to scrape together a jammy victory. Soccer Aid this year will be bigger and better than ever because this time it's personal. Michael Sheen, I'm gunning for you son.'
