Lovers tiff: Charlotte Church and her boyfriend Jonathan Powell were spotted having an argument at a Soho bar last night
Charlotte Church seems very much back in the old relationship routine.
Her previous union with rugby player Gavin Henson was characterised by blazing rows, and heavy drinking,
And last night she was seen out drinking and looking highly emotional as she publicly quarrelled with new love musician Jonathan Powell.
Fed up: Musician Powell looked frustrated as onlookers say Charlotte was 'shouting and waving her arms'
Charlotte and her musician boyfriend were seen having a lovers tiff in the London venue after she watched him perform at a gig in South London.
The night turned sour when onlookers reported witnessing the 24-year-old Voice of an Angel star shouting and waving her arms while Jonathan tried to placate her.
Pictures show the mother-of-two looking visibly upset as she and Jonathan argued, at one point covering her mouth and crying.
Crying game: The singer was visibly upset, at one point breaking down in tears
Tender: The couple appeared to make up after their argument, with Jonathan comforting his girlfriend
Jonathan, also 24, appeared frustrated and defensive as he listened to his girlfriend.
But after several minutes he tenderly touched her face before enveloping her in a hug.
She confided last week that she isn't ready for a big relationship with her new love interest Jonathan Powell.
Unfortunately, she shared those feelings with a national magazine, and it is unlikely that Jonathan hasn't heard about it.
Recovered: Charlotte, emerged looking a little worse for wear but happy again after the spat in Soho
Perhaps her insensitive admission was the reason behind the couple's argument last night in a Soho bar.
However, it seemed the musician had manged to placate her, as the mother of two seemed to be much happier, if a little worse for wear, when she emerged from the bar with Jonathan and some friends at 3am.
The group had continued partying after cheering Powell on at his gig at the Bedford Arms in Balham earlier in the evening.
Charlotte sat front and centre, sipping on vodka and red bull and clapping as her boyfriend took to the stage.
Debut: The pair were celebrating after attending a promotional gig for Powell's album new earlier in the evening
The pair, who collaborated on Charlotte's new album, are supportive of each other's work.
Jonathan played back up for the star when she appeared on Loose Women last week.
Despite previously appearing smitten with her new man, the cracks have started to show since the singer's frank confession last week.
Speaking to new! magazine, Charlotte, 24, said: 'I’m just not ready for a big thing yet. I like a bit of freedom.'

Supportive: Charlotte cheered her man on at the gig at the Bedford Arms in Balham
She says she is not ready to settle down again after splitting from her fiancé Gavin Henson, father of her two children Ruby, three, and Dexter, 21 months.
'It’s quite nice to be free,' she said. 'But not forever. I do like men quite a lot!'
This may have come as a surprise to Jonathan, who is said to be smitten with the singer after they became close during the making of her album Back to Scratch.
They went public with their romance six weeks after she announced her split from 28-year-old Henson.
Charlotte has also been quite vocal about her feelings for Gavin, who she split from shortly after announcing their engagement.
Mingling: She chatted with other members of the audience
She revealed that the pair grew apart following his appearance on reality show 71 Degrees North, which was filmed in Norway earlier this year.
Charlotte said: 'He was quite different when he came back. I’d hardly spoken to him for a month and it made us both rethink what we wanted, rather than just try to keep everything going.
'The problem with me and Gav was that we were just too different, too far apart. 'His world is alien to me.
'All that training… he’s so strict with what he eats, what time he goes to sleep. And my life was alien to him.'
Collaboration: Jonathan played back up for Charlotte when she appeared on Loose Women last week
Taking things slowly: She admitted recently that she is not looking for a serious relationship with Jonathan
But she also said that despite their split, she will always care for him.
She said: 'We love each other still. He is a good guy. It’s just that we were not good for each other, unfortunately.'
Charlotte was quite philosophical when she was asked about the performance of her latest album, Back To Scratch.
Despite lots of promotion and publicity, the album entered the chart at the lowly position of number 23 before plummeting to 65 the following week.
She said: 'Nothing matters compared to spending time with my children. They’re my life.'
Love: Charlotte has said of her ex Gavin Henson, 'We love each other still'
