Daring to bare: Alex Curran flashes her long tanned legs in a very short dress as she leaves her husband Steven Gerrard and his Liverpool teammates to their Christmas party
If a girl is going to crash in on a boys' night out then flashing some newly tanned skin is a very good way of grabbing their attention.
Not that Alex Curran was facing any competition in that department last night as she greeted her footballer husband and his Liverpool FC team mates at their Christmas bash last night.
Because not only did she stand out in her adventurously short dress, which showed off her long tanned legs to perfection, but she was the only WAG among their party.
Not that Curran has eyes for anyone other than her husband, Liverpool and England star Steven Gerrard, but she certainly made sure she wasn't going to be outdone in the fashion stakes.
And although she didn't stick around for long, all eyes were on her as she left the San Carlo restaurant in Liverpool last night.
Won't you be cold? Alex heads out into the freezing temperatures to continue her night at a bar up the road from the restaurant
Helping hands: Alex is supported by her friend and a passing gentlemen as she navigates the icy Liverpool streets
She showed off her enviable figure in the very short dress which she covered with a very short long sleeved black coat, and teamed with shoe boots.
Alex, 28, had dined at the Italian restaurant earlier in the evening with a couple of female friends but stuck around for ten minutes afterwards to greet her husband and his team mates.
Happy to oblige: Alex's husband, Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard, arrives at the dinner and stops to sign a fan's football shirt
But she left them to their night together as she and her friends headed out into the cold night to walk up to the nearby Bar and Grill for after dinner drinks.
But she had to call on the help of one of her friends and a passing gentleman to help support her as she precariously navigated the icy streets in her towering heels.
Scruffy: Winger Maxi Rodriguez and centre back Sotirios Kyrgiakos dressed down for the dinner party in ripped jeans
But while Alex, who wasn't even an official guest at the bash, made more than an effort to look nice for the night, the same couldn't be said about the Premier League players.
Most of them opted for the smart jeans and blazer option but Maxi Rodriguez and Sotirios Kyrgiakos arrived in scruffy but purposely ripped jeans.
And the players would no doubt have been toasting better days ahead after a shaky start to the season. They are currently ninth in the table but just five point behind the top four clubs.
Black and blue: Paul Konchesky, Fabio Aurelio and Dirk Kuyt all opted to wear dark blazers and jeans
Party boys: Lucas Leiva, Danny Wilson and Milan Jovanovic arrive for the team dinner
