As Katie Price arrived in Los Angeles last night, rumours were rife that Victoria Beckham had switched flights after hearing she was scheduled to be in the model’s first class cabin.

Jordan, 32, and Posh were apparently booked on the same Virgin flight to LAX ahead of Sunday’s Oscars, but when Beckham heard the news she wanted to change.

Victoria, 36, allegedly made the move to Air New Zealand and joined the same flight that Cheryl Cole was boarding.

Perhaps the fashion designer was put off by Katie’s wardrobe nightmare, which consisted of black and white skin-tight leggings and a see-through top that revealed her white bra.

But after strolling through the airport with her son Harvey, the mother-of-three who was joined by her brother and best friends Phil Turner and Gary Cockerill tweeted: ‘Taking off people saying victoria on flight this is not true tweet soonx.’

Mrs Beckham had also heard the rumours but her spokesperson told the Mail Online: 'We do not comment on specific travel details but we had several flights on hold over a few days - this is just a coincidence.'

She rebutted the Daily Star's reports that after realising the women would be sharing a flight, Victoria and her husband David Beckham pulled out quickly and re-booked another plane 30 minutes later.

Jordan and Harvey still arrived for their original flight though and were greeted by a huge crowd of paparazzi, who caught a glimpse of the glamour model's obscene amount of luggage following close behind her.

And when the other flight arrived, a fresh-faced Cheryl Cole was spotted also passing through Los Angeles International Airport straight from London.

The Parachute singer’s spokesperson said the 27-year-old was off to the U.S. for work commitments, but it is unknown whether she’ll appear at the Oscars alongside Katie Price this weekend.

He said: ‘Yes, she’s going to LA, but she’s going out there to work on some music.

Katie Price and Victoria Beckham have had a long standing feud which dates back to 2000, when the model claimed Posh had ruined her relationship with Dane Bowers.

Victoria later stood up for herself, saying that Katie is ‘vile’, but has since kept a dignified silence over the matter.

But Katie has continued to make snide comments about the former Spice Girl for years, making jibes such as: ‘It’s not hard to be better looking than her, is it? She’s just a footballer’s wife.’
