Night out: Cheryl Cole poses backstage last night after watching Mary Poppins on Broadway
She's been constantly busy since arriving in America for her role on the judging panel of X Factor USA.
But last night Cheryl Cole decided to indulge in a bit of 'me time' as she went to see Mary Poppins on Broadway in New York.
The 27-year-old star wore a khaki lion-print T-shirt, cream blazer and jeans as she posed backstage with the show's stars Ashley Brown and Gavin Lee after watching the performance.
Cole looked happy and relaxed as she took some time out from her busy schedule and chatted to the actors while she proudly clutched her programme.
She must have been thrilled to have a night off after attending the Fox Upfront event on Monday night alongside fellow X Factor USA judges Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul.
Cole flew into New York earlier this week after a brief trip to the Cannes Film Festival, where she caused a stir when she arrived at a premiere looking stunning in a plunging white dress.

And now it seems the Girls Aloud singer could soon be seen making an appearance on the big screen, after apparently meeting up with movie producer Harvey Weinstein during her time in Cannes.
Cole is said to be in talks with three major production companies Stateside after impressing bosses with her star quality.
A source told The Sun: 'It has been amazing to see the reception Cole has had after going to Cannes. As soon as she got back to America, people from California were getting in touch about having her in their films.
'It just shows how quickly her profile has rocketed now she is on the US X Factor.
'At the moment it's just about sorting out when she can actually fit in any filming because her schedule is full until Christmas. She's very keen though.'
At the New Amsterdam Theater last night, Cole went for casual chic in her outfit combination - a sharp contrast to the recent brightly-coloured combinations she has been sporting.
And her style change could be down to the fact that Cole has apparently been told she needs to become more ‘old-style sophisticated and glamorous’ by her new bosses in Hollywood.
A source within the production team told The Mail on Sunday: ‘Obviously Cole is a gorgeous woman, but she turned up to the first day’s filming of The X Factor looking a bit weird in purple flares.
'Everyone was talking about how she looked – but for all the wrong reasons. The level of glamour expected by American audiences is much higher.
'Here, women in television are groomed to within an inch of their lives.’
