Thighs the limit: Joshua Jackson and Diane Kruger at the Costume Institute Gala Benefit in New York last night
She faced plenty of competition, but Diane Kruger relied on a tried and tested way to stand out from the crowd at the Costume Institute Gala Benefit last night.
The German actress opted for a daring floor-length dress that was slashed to the thigh at the glamorous red carpet affair at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York tonight.
The event celebrated the opening of the Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty exhibition, which features the late designer’s iconic work.
Stepping out in style: The actress' dress was designed by Jason Wu
The Inglourious Basterds star's stylish confection was designed by Jason Wu and she polished off the look with a Jimmy Choo Lina clutch.
Her boyfriend Joshua Jackson, 32, famous for his role in Dawson's Creek, looked dapper in a white trimmed suit.
It was a decidedly polished look by the pair, who were yesterday spotted strolling around New York in a casual jeans.
The actress has been dating the former Dawson's Creek star for four years.
Casual couple: The pair were spotted strolling around the city over the weekend
Diane was married to French actor Guillaume Canet in 2001 but the relationship soured and the couple split in 2006.
She has previously revealed that she has no plans to walk down the aisle again.
'Without sounding pessimistic, I learned that I don't believe in marriage,' she says.
'I believe in a commitment that you make in your heart.'
