Sweet dreams: Cher Lloyd celebrated landing her first No. 1 single with debut Swagger Jagger last night at London's G.A.Y. nightclub
She's had her fair share of haters since she first appeared on last year's X Factor - but Cher Lloyd got the last laugh when she went straight to Number One tonight with her debut solo single.
The 18-year-old's Swagger Jagger knocked She Makes Me Wanna by fellow former X Factor contestants JLS from the top of the charts and into second place.
Cher celebrated earlier with a set at London's legendary club G.A.Y. last night, where she had worn skintight dark indigo blue jeans and a sleeveless royal blue blue denim shirt which she'd tied at her waist.

She was also sporting her now trademark glossy half-shaved hairstyle with her flowing locks to one side, and had accessorised her bright pink microphone with pink make-up and nails.
After the set, club bosses treated her to a huge birthday cake with a giant Number One and her name and photo on it.
The star was then clearly blown away this evening when dozens of fans queued outside the Radio 1 studios in London where she was a guest as Reggie Yates announced she'd gone to Number One on tonight's Official Chart Show.

Despite the wind and rain, they all waited patiently for a chance to meet their idol.
Wearing a tan coloured skirt with white T-shirt and black tights and shoes. Cher seemed genuinely overwhelmed and appeared to have tears in her eyes as she chatted to Reggie.
The star said this evening: 'Having a number One was the best thing I could have asked for, I am so happy! I'm the happiest girl alive! Thank you for supporting me, and buying the single! This is the best thing that's ever happened to me!'
Prayers answered: Cher seemed thrilled to bits with her good news
Starting them young: Cher took time to greet some of her youngest fans too
She added: 'It's the one thing I've always wanted to achieve as an artist and now it's come true. It's the best feeling in the world! Thank you to everyone who bought the single and to all my fans who believed in me.'
Co-written and produced by The Runners, who have previously worked with Rihanna, Cher came up with Swagger Jagger earlier this year, on her first post-X Factor trip to Los Angeles - and the hook-laden track takes a cheeky sideswipe at a 'hater' who should 'just let it go'.
Cher, who only turned 18 last week, had previously said that if she achieved her dream of landing on top of the charts, she would celebrate with a glass of champagne as she was now allowed to drink.

Elsewhere, there was little other change at the top of the chart, with boyband The Wanted slipping to third with Glad You Came, singer Ed Sheeran's The A Team unchanged in fourth, and Louder by DJ Fresh dropping two places to No 5.
Amy Winehouse, who died last month aged 27, continued to dominate the albums chart.
Back To Black remained in top spot while her debut album Frank moved up to third.
Adele stayed at No 2 and No 4 with 21 and debut 19, with singer Beyoncé continuing the numerical titled albums in fifth place with 4.
Meanwhile, Cher's as-yet-untitled debut album, which will feature Busta Rhymes, Mike Posner and new British rapper Dot Rotten, comes out in November.
