Britney Brucknell: Kitty heads to X Factor rehearsals at Fountain Studios wearing a pair of pink skimpy shorts, figure-hugging T-shirt and knee-high PVC boots
It seems Kitty Brucknell has already learned that talent is only a small percentage of becoming a star.
Creating headlines with bizarre behaviour and dressing provocatively is likely to cause just as much furore when it comes to winning The X Factor.
The wannabe stepped out today in a pair of thigh-skimming pink shorts and PVC boots that appear to have been recycled from her days of imitating pop princess Britney Spears.
Provocative: Britney Spears, performing at 2007 MTV Video Music Awards, was known for her tiny shorts and knee-high boots
It's no surprise considering the 26-year-old was a professional Spears and Lady Gaga impersonator before her reality TV glory.
Despite the 'look-at-me' outfit, Kitty didn't bother completing it with groomed locks, attending Fountain Studios with messy peroxide bed hair.
Carrying a black and white handbag, the wannabe celebrated her own name with the Hello Kitty logo and slogan.
Star in the making: Contestant could soon make a name for herself, instead of following in the footsteps of Britney Spears and Lady Gaga
Tired or tantrum? Peroxide blonde contestant Kitty looked fed up as she made some unusual facial expressions while crossing her arms
She also wore a curve-hugging white T-shirt with the iconic Rolling Stones lips and tongue on it, together with a Union Jack.
But despite her own success, surviving the judge's eviction where they axed four contestants last Saturday, Kitty championed her rivals Rhythmix.
She wrote on Twitter '@rhythmixoffic I wannabe the 5th member of ur group!! Love this band! They are all @britneyspears fans too!!! :)'
Copycat: Last week Kitty emulated another idol Lady Gaga, wearing a green wig
The 16 finalists from this year’s X Factor series will be releasing a charity single in aid of ACT & Children’s Hospices UK.
Their cover of the Rose Royce classic Wishing On A Star will be released via download on November 20 and physical single on November 21.
Seal of approval: Kitty championed girl group Rhythmix as they are all Britney fans
The single is the fourth charity release from the show, following last year's cover of David Bowie's Heroes, 2009's cover of Michael Jackson's You Are Not Alone and 2008's Hero for the Help For Heroes charity.
Kitty said: 'It's incredible to be able to give something back and hopefully help a lot of people.'

Pink imposter: As Johnny Robinson clowns around in dungarees, can his garish wardrobe choices win him the public vote and through to the next round?
Saying it with a smile: Mischa Bryan seems to be mentor Kelly Rowland's act after wearing a dazzling dress made of newspaper last week
