On the road to recovery: Sam Faiers cuddles up to new boyfriend Mark Wright as he visits her as she recovered from the brutal attack on her on Saturday night
She was unable to film her scheduled scenes as she recovered at home after the brutal attack which left her battered, bruised and extremely shaken.
But a visit from her new boyfriend Mark Wright soon put a smile on Sam Faiers face as she appeared on last night's The Only Way Is Essex.
The boutique owner was recovering at home with her sister Billie, who was also attacked after their night out in London on Saturday, when Mark decided to pay them a visit.
You still look beautiful: Sam appeared to perk up as Mark showered her with compliments and kisses
He came in and hugged the girls who looked rather sad but brightened up when he showered them with compliments and said they still looked beautiful.
Billie excused herself to make everyone a cup of tea and Sam took the opportunity to snuggle up close to Mark as he gently kissed her and winced at her black eyes, which she had attempted to cover with make-up.
She didn't go into detail about the attack but looked happy to have Mark there and said she was grateful he had come to see her and that it was 'nice to know everyone cares'.
The girls were attacked outside a London nightclub at the weekend by a girl gang. Sam was left unconscious after the assault and needed a brain scan.
In shock: The girls looked like they were trying to come to terms with the attack, the bruises around Sam's eyes all too clear to see
Isn't he sweet: Sam and Billie soon perked up as they snuggled under a blanket on the sofa after Mark came round to lift their spirits
A few days before the attack, the couple appeared to cement their blossoming relationship as she went for Sunday dinner with Mark, his Nanna Pat, mother Carol and sister Jessica.
Sam complimented Carol and told her, 'Your shepherd's pie is lovely', to which she replied, 'It's so nice to have you over and to sit here all of us and cook a dinner for you.'
Mark and Sam were then seen outside his house as she went to go home and they both came to the conclusion they were more than friends.
One of the family: Sam joined, from left, Mark, his Nanna Pat, his mother Carol and his sister Jessica for Sunday dinner
More than friends: Mark and Sam agree they like each other a lot as she heads home after dinner with his family
But the Sunday lunch didn't go down too well with Mark's ex-fiancé Lauren Goodger who he split from in the summer.
She bumped into Carol in the supermarket, who told her she was shopping for dinner and said: 'Sam's coming round to be with the family, it's just a friendly thing, they're not dating, just friends. I'm doing shepherd's pie, she requested it.'
Lauren forced a smile and said: 'I feel like she's taking my space. Funny she's giving you orders already.'
Feeling left out: Lauren Goodger bumps into Carol in the supermarket and finds out that Sam's going round for dinner with his family
'I feel replaced': Lauren confides in Lauren Pope about her feelings after hearing Sam had been welcomed into Mark's family home for Sunday dinner
We're going out for some fun! Gemma Collins hugs Lauren and tells the girls they're going to go out and find some men
And she moaned about it later on as she arrived at Debra at Chigwell's boutique to meet Gemma Collins and Lauren Pope.
Both seemed surprised about the dinner and Gemma said: 'I'd be on the floor passing out!'
Pope said Carol shouldn't have told her about the dinner but said she also saw Carol's side of it and said: 'If she's cooking Sam a shepherd's pie, it will make Mark happy and Carol will be there, she just wants to see her kids happy.'
Stop that and come help us! Chloe Sims scolds Joey Essex for planking in her living room as she and his sister Frankie look at DIY mags
Unsure: Cara Kilbey and Billi Mucklow discuss their double date with Joey and Kirk
But Goodger moaned: 'I've been rejected from the family and what have I done wrong?'
But then Gemma reminds her about the salsa classes she's organised for the gang and tells Lauren: 'We're gonna stop putting ourselves down, I think we're beautiful and we're gonna go and have a good night out. No one's perfect.'
Gemma also proved to be a good friend to one of the Greek twins, Dino, who she went to visit as he lay unwell on his sofa.
Lazing on a sunny afternoon: Kirk and Mick Norcross grab their rods for a day of peaceful fishing and father and son chat
Love life advice: Kirk talks to Mick about his double date and after admitting that Billie is not his type, he tells him he just wants a 'nice, little bird'
She said: 'I;m here to look after you and I've brought some remedies', and then pulls out a basket with bananas, Greek dips tzatziki and homous and little pita breads, and some brandy before teasinf him that he's got 'man flu'.
Meanwhile, Chloe Sims and her cousin Frankie Essex are sitting in her living room looking at DIY catalogues while Frankie's brother Joey attempts planking.
The girls ask Joey about his recent double date with Kirk Norcoss and Cara Kilbey and Billi Mucklow and he didn't come across as being too keen, as his sister said: 'You and Kirk are having such a laugh you don't need those two.'
Man flu, Dino? The Greek twin lies on the sofa feeling sorry for himself...
... until his brother Giorgio lets Gemma in who is carrying a basket of remedies including brandy
Cara and Billi also seemed a bit unsure about the boys as they were filmed in Cara's living room discussing the date and neither seemed too bothered even though they admitted they did like them.
Kirk, on the other hand, went on a fishing trip with his father Mick and told him that although he had fun on the date, he wasn;t that bothered about Billi, saying, 'she's not my type'.
He added: 'I just wanted a nice little bird', to which Mick laughed and said: 'Try the pet shop.'
Are we moving in together then? Lucy Mecklenburgh talks to boyfriend Mario Falcone about whether he still wants to live with her
Mario Falcone and Lucy Mecklenburgh also appeared in last night's show, right after Lucy went to speak to his ex Peri in her card shop to clear the air.
Snuggled into Mario's sofa, Lucy asked him if he was still keen for her to move in with him because, 'I don't want to get excited and you change your mind.'
He admitted: 'I'm not gonna lie, with all that's happened, all the rumours and that, I did have my doubts. Plus also, I always wanted it to be a bachelor pad, always envisaged that when I moved out, that's how it would be. But yeah, am ready for you to move in with me.'
'I'm just so busy!' Lydia tells Arg that they will find time for each other but she is too wrapped up in the shop at the moment
Earlier, Mark and James 'Arg' Argent were filmed playing five-a-side football and as they sat down and had a breather, Arg admitted that he wanted to change how he looked.
He said: 'Lydia's well, the shop's doing well but I get insecure because people say, "what's she doing with him?" But I can groom myself better.'
He then spoke about getting his teeth done to which Mark replied: 'You've probably got more holes in your teeth then a second hand dartboard! But don't do all that stuff just for Lydia. You are who you are, you are a good looking kid.'
Say cheese! Arg smiles for the dentist as he poses for some shots of his teeth
Can you fix them? Arg shows off his pearly whites as he looks into getting veneers
How much? Arg soon changes his mind when he is told it will cost between £4,000 and £5,000
After visiting Lydia at her new cake shop to try and arrange a date for them in her busy schedule, he makes an appointment at the dentist.
After posing for a number of pictures, the dentist shows him a different range of veneers from cream to bright white coloured.
Arg tells him: 'Can you find a cross between Hollywood and Brentwood. I'm a singer and want to feel sexy' but he soon baulks when he asks how much the treatment will be and the dentist says between £4,000 and £5,000.
We're gonna have fun tonight! The girls forget their worries as they get ready for salsa
New partners: Lauren Goodger teams up with a handsome dancer but Chloe is left with Giorgio and he moans she is towering over him
The girls - the Laurens, Frankie, Chloe and Gemma get ready for salsa as Goodger once again brings up Sam and Mark and Frankie sympathises telling her: 'I think it's a bit soon, it's like rubbing salt in the wound, bang out of order.'
As they arrive at the salsa class, Gemma pairs up with Arg and tells him he is a good dancer, adding: 'You're the matador, I'm the bull and you're coming to get me.'
They then talk about their dieting and how they're coping and she tells him the only place for them is boot camp before revealing that if Lydia ever dumped him, she'd be there waiting.
You know where to find me: As they discuss their diets and their weight battle, Gemma tells Arg if Lydia dumps her she'll be there waiting for him
