Colourful night out: Kitty Brucknell, Johnny Robinson and Sami Brookes were treated to a night out at Priscilla, Queen of the Desert The Musical, with Louis Walsh
Kitty Brucknell and Johnny Robinson both sported outlandish stage costumes on their first X Factor live show and they look set to continue the antics if last night’s escapade was anything to go by.
Their mentor Louis Walsh treated his Over 25’s category, including Sami Brookes, to a night out a Priscilla, Queen of the Desert The Musical in London.
And the trio of contestants walked out of the Palace Theatre covered in brightly coloured feather boas and sunglasses.
Perhaps Louis was trying to conjure up some inspiration for his act’s upcoming show this Saturday night.
Priscilla, Queen of the Desert is based on the 1994 film that sees two drag queens and a transsexual get a cabaret gig in the middle of the Australian desert.
And camp singer Johnny Robinson has said that he’ll perform on the X Factor stage dressed in drag if the public want him to.
The 45-year-old contestant used to dress as a woman to perform in pubs and clubs around London before landing a spot on the ITV show.

Meanwhile, Kitty is renowned for her crazy outfits and has openly spoken about wanting to be a controversial performer.
The 26-year-old, who sung Queen’s classic Who Wants to Live Forever on the first live show, has been praised by Queen guitarist Brian May for her vocal ability too though.
May told the Daily Mirror: ‘Suddenly, there was this girl singing my song. So I stopped e-mailing, and watched and listened.
‘And it was beautiful. She interpreted – she voiced her feelings through the song – channelled it into a riveting performance – and it was really beautiful.

Louis’ third act Samantha Brookes might not have worn a crazy outfit like her fellow Over 25’s, but has been wowing audiences with her voice.
And she recently said that her lesbian partner, and biggest fan, Sinead Murphy, describes her gift as ‘amazing’.
Meanwhile, Louis’ original fourth act Jonjo, who was axed in Sunday night’s result’s show, was out last night partying with his fellow X Factor rejects at a Just Dance 3 launch party in London.
