Superstar crush hour: Rihanna travels in style to her show at London's O2 Arena by taking the Tube
She is a millionairess at the tender age of 23. But popstar Rihanna is clearly not your average spoilt celebrity.
Clearly keen to experience all the highs - and lows of London - the bold singer took to the London Underground to travel along with her fans to her concert at the O2 Arena.
She happily posed for pictures as she rode the Jubilee line and incredulous fans posted them on social networking site Twitter last night.
Meet the fans: She could not even get a seat in the standing room-only carriage but did not seem to mind as she chatted to passengers
One fan Lisa Maria O’Keeffe wrote: ‘I met Rihanna on my way home. Told her she was crazy for taking the tube.
'She said “Dunno how you guys do it”.'
Shut Up And Drive singer Rihanna even used an Oyster card as she boarded the packed train.
A source told The Sun: 'Fans couldn't believe they were sharing a carriage with a world famous pop star.
'She was just like any other passenger, except accompanied by a huge entourage. She was happy to pose for snaps and talk about the gig. She was so down-to-earth.'
Provocative: Rihanna in a pose from last night's concert at the O2 Arena in London, in which she performed much of the gig in just a bikini
Strutting her stuff: Rihanna walks around the O2 stage in her barely-there jewelled bikini and nude fishnets
It was a fun start to what soon turned into the usual provocative antics seen onstage during the worldwide Loud tour which started back in June.
Last night she arrived wearing a bottom-skimming blue jacket but quickly stripped down to a barely-there jewelled bikini, nude fishnets and neon platform boots.
Her appearance came just days after northern Irish farmer Alan Graham ordered the Barbadian singer off his land after she stripped down for a music video earlier this month.
Rear view: The singer bends over in front of a group of fans - who capture the moment on their mobile phones
Covered up: Rihanna arrived on stage wearing a blue coat and neon pink boots, but it wasn't long before the coat came off
The 61-year-old interrupted filming on his muddy field in Northern Ireland and warned the star, who was wearing low-slung jeans and a bikini top, to ‘find a greater God’.
Days later, the singer was warned she would have to cover up if she appeared on The X Factor again, following thousands of complaints over her skimpy outfits on last year’s show.
TV watchdog Ofcom announced stringent guidelines for pre-watershed programmes, putting an end to scantily-clad dancers and overtly sexual routines on the ITV talent contest.
