Training time: David Beckham took his children to a local grounds in Venice Beach on Sunday to get in some football training
He was supposed to be taking his sons for a morning of football training to hone their skills.
But like many fathers, David Beckham couldn't resist taking over the ball and having some fun of his own.
The 36-year-old took his youngest two Romeo and Cruz for a kickabout at a local football ground in Venice Beach, California on Sunday.
David, dressed down in jeans, a zip-up jumper and beanie, stole the ball away from Cruz, to show off his professional skills. The attentive father stopped to help Romeo to tie his boots.
There was no sign of oldest son Brooklyn during the boys day on the field.
The Beckham boys left Victoria and baby Harper behind in London while they jetted back to LA last week.

The ladies stayed behind to attend a lunch with Range Rovers executives at The Savoy in London.
David accompanied the older children back to the US for the boys to resume school following the Christmas holiday in London.
It was their schooling that apparently convinced the couple to reject a possible move to France for David to sign with Paris St Germain.

A friend of the family told Mail Online last week: 'Victoria is delighted they will be staying in LA, the whole family are happy the right decision has been made.
'The move to Paris was a real possibility and whilst Victoria was getting used to the idea of such a big move, and it would have been helpful for her to be a Eurostar journey away from her studio rather than a 12 hour flight, however as parents they felt their children had to come first.
'Brooklyn moves to senior school in September and at such a crucial time in his education they had to put their own needs to one side and focus on the needs of their children.'
