Leggy: Alesha Dixon looks stunning in a revealing yellow dress as she arrives at the Britain's Got Talent auditions at Manchester's Lowry Theatre

It's her first day on the job, so you can't blame Alesha Dixon for wanting to make a good impression.

Arriving for the first live auditions of the new Britain's Got Talent series today, the ex-Strictly Come Dancing judge pulled out all the stops in a sexy yellow slit dress.

The former Mis-teeq singer, 33, joined her fellow judges Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Simon Cowell at the Lowry Theatre in Manchester.

While Dixon was going all out in her eye-catching dress and Christian Louboutin heels, heavily pregnant Holden kept it simple in a classic black dress.

The former Cutting It star, 40, is due to give birth to a baby sister for her six-year-old daughter Lexi in February.

Ahead of her BGT debut, Dixon wrote on her Twitter page: 'Oh the glamour!!!! Getting ready for BGT!!! Very excited to see what Manchester has in store for us!'

Looking tanned following a recent holiday in the Caribbean with model wife Lara Stone, comedian Walliams looked thrilled to be there - despite the rain - as he posed outside in a navy suit.

The Little Britain star, who has signed a reported £800,000 two-year deal to be a judge, has been tweeting his excitement at being a part of the show over the past few weeks.

When a fan asked him this morning if he looking forward to being a judge, he replied: 'As Simon says... 'A million per cent!

'I am counting the hours until BGT auditions start in Manchester. I really can't wait to take my judge's seat!'

And hosts Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly revealed they had dined with the new judges and Britain's Got Even More Talent presenter Stephen Mulhern on Thursday night.

Donnelly tweeted on their joint page: 'Really lovely dinner with @AleshaOfficial @davidwalliams @Amanda_Holden @StephenMulhern and top @GotTalent team. Can't wait for tmrw! D x.'

Holden also wrote on her Twitter this morning: 'On my way to The Lowry for first day of BGT auditions!! Massively excited!! Had dinner with new judges last night! Very funny eve! Xx.'

Dixon and Walliams' appointment on the panel and Cowell's return came after the show's ratings suffered a drop last year.

With Cowell focusing on X Factor USA, the only original judge Holden was joined by comedian Michael McIntyre and American actor David Hasselhoff.

However, McIntyre decided to quit after one series to focus on his hugely-successful stand-up career, while the Baywatch star was reportedly fired.

Before the official announcement of their replacements earlier this month, Samantha Womack, Kim Cattrall, Dannii Minogue and Barbara Windsor were all touted as possible judges.

In an interview this week, Cowell admitted he was thrilled to be have 'poached' Dixon from his X Factor rival show Strictly Come Dancing.

Dixon quit Strictly after three years as a judge so sign a reported £350,000 deal with Cowell.

The winner of this year's series will now received a £500,000 prizes compared to last year's £100,000.

They will also have the opportunity to perform in space on one of Sir Richard Branson's commercial space flights.
