It is going to be the first time a man has ever graced the front cover of ELLE magazine, so bosses of the publication are obviously hoping it will have an impact.
And what better way than to shoot David Beckham getting wet with his top off?
The football superstar may have turned 37 just a few days ago but he is just as fit and healthy as ever.

And to prove it he has stripped off to show his toned chest once again as the publishers gear up the excitement ahead of its release.
A teaser video showing behind the scenes footage of the shoot has now been released by ELLE chiefs online ahead of the July issue's release.
And one thing's for sure, David will appear semi naked on the hotly anticipated cover.

Beckham shows off his six pack and collection of arm tattoos as he stands holding a white towel with his hair slicked back during the cover session.
And in other stills from the clip he is seen punching the air against a backdrop of trees and a swimming pool.
To drum up even more excitement, ELLE bosses have scrawled words across the screen as flashes of the shoot are shown, which read: 'The Beckham issue is coming. Prepare yourself'.

When it was announced on the MailOnline last month that Beckham was to become the first male cover star of the publication, the sports man said: 'ELLE is a prestigious magazine with international recognition.
'I'm honoured to have been asked to be the first ever solo male fashion cover.'
Editor-in-Chief Lorraine Candy, added: 'David Beckham is a national hero, so we saw an opportunity to shoot a celebratory cover to support an historical and patriotic year.

'He is an icon and ELLE is known for featuring icons on its cover. This is a first for us on the newsstand and I believe he is loved by men and women alike.
