At one point the Hollywood star got caught up in a gust of wind and was seen struggling to put on her large cardigan as her skirt billowed around her.
Kate, who is almost six months pregnant with her Muse boyfriend Matt Bellamy, was pictured today lapping up the sunny California sun in Malibu.
The mother of one and rocker Bellamy are expecting their first child together after a whirlwind romance.
Last month Matt, 32, dedicated his band's Grammy win to Kate, giving 'special thanks to my beautiful, pregnant girlfriend' after scooping the best rock album for The Resistance.
