And now, the former Destiny's Child singer has been accused of not wanting her remaining crooner to win in this weekend's final.
She is apparently scared she will be left embarrassed if the 17-year-old takes the title, considering she voted the teenager out back in October on the first live show.
Amelia came back in the competition after wannabe rocker Frankie Coccoza left amid a drug scandal.
Kelly accompanied Amelia during her home visit to Middlesborough on Wednesday but only spent 10 minutes at her family's house, reported the Mirror.
She apparently refused to eat or drink anything and returned to her hotel suite alone.
A family friend told the paper that Amelia was worried Kelly wished she had not been brought back to the show.
'Kelly couldn’t hide the fact she didn’t want to be in Middlesbrough and seemed to spend most of her time in a hotel,' he said.

A show source said: 'Kelly seems to feel embarrassed about the situation. She dumped Amelia, so what would it say about her expert opinion if that girl goes on to win the whole competition? It would probably be easier for her if she doesn’t win.'
Kelly flew to Germany on Tuesday to promote her album and appeared on the German version of the show.
Her spokeswoman said: “She is working outside of the show, but that is because she has got an album to promote. She is the only judge who has that.'

Meanwhile, Amelia does appear to have some support.
Middlesborough football boss Tony Mowbray has thrown his weight behind the finalist.
He said: 'I'm a big X Factor fan. Everyone in the Mowbray household watches the show and we will be cheering on Amelia this Saturday, as will everyone at the club.

'Let's hope she can pull it off at the weekend.'
The Mayor of Middlesbrough Ray Mallon also added his support.
In his column for The Northern Echo newspaper, he said if Amelia won we would see 'a genuinely talented and popular young person getting a reward for their hard work and application'.
Mallon, a Queen fan, believed her version of The Show Must Go On, was 'every bit as good as the original' adding 'I doubt if any singer, let alone one starting out on their career, could have achieved that'.
Amelia's Dad, Barry Oliver, said he was grateful for the support.
He told Middlesbrough FC's official website: 'We're relaxed about this weekend and there's no pressure on her because she's in the final and whatever happens now is a bonus.
'If anyone has been on an emotional rollercoaster it's Amelia and she has handled it really, really well.
'I'd like to see her win for the area more than anything because it would be good for Teesside and it will make it extra special coming at Christmas time.'
